Finding these SUCKS!

You don't need to be a scientist to anticipate the catastrophic impacts these suckers make in any given environment, batteries are as toxic to the environment as Pauline is to ethnicity.

Sydney is a coastal city and 80% of the trash in our waters comes from the land. So when you find batteries out and about? Well YIKES, that's a close call isn't it!!! Keep your eyes peeled, they're about the gnarliest form of litter you can find.

Did you know Aldi has dedicated bins at every store for e-waste like batteries? Guys #lezbereal, there are Aldi's everywhere. You don't need to buy their stuff if you don't dig it but that doesn't mean you can't use their recycling bins!

WEEKEND CHALLENGE: Find all dead batteries in your possession. If you're anything like the rest of the world, you probably have stray batteries littered unseen all throughout your house. Check your most infrequently used drawers. Find Aldi near you - or maybe near somewhere you'll be next week? - and recycle them. Pat your back.

Oh, and BONUS CHALLENGE: have an EPIC weekend! You're one of the lucky ones.
